Does anyone here have any first hand experience with a Verizon Droid Bionic? I am just trying to decide if it's worth upgrading to or not. I have read the reviews and it looks like something that I'd really love to have but I also thought the same about the droid incredible and that turned out horrible for me, I ended up swapping out for a Droid X. My contract is almost up and I don't know if I should keep my Droid X or try the bionic.

My main worries are:
Phone freezing up
bad signal quality (incredible - no signal at my house, Droid X very limited signal at my house - I'm 2 miles away from a verizon cell tower and can't figure that one out)

Oh and anyone know if you can you actually communicate with someone (using the front facing camera on the phone) if the other person is using skype or Sprints evo? (I'm just curious on this one, figured I'd ask it now lol)

Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks :D

I know someone who just upgraded to this and they love it. I don't believe skype is capable of doing video yet on any of the android phones - last I checked it didn't.

Bionic has like 2,3,4 pages worth of bug fixes coming out in November. I'd recommend checking the Bionic forums on Motorola's site for the problems people are having with it now and the status of the coming update for the phone. If you're sadistic and down for a lot of pain and headaches grab one or might be one of the lucky ones that has very few problems. I wanted one but am waiting for the patch to see the results.

Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. I was really hoping skype would let me do a video chat so that's sad news. I think I will check out their Bionic forums and see what everyone's saying. If it sounds like too much of a hassle I'll just hold off because I'm never one of the lucky ones lol
