Plans of Sony and Firmware updates often go awry, and PS Vita update 1.65 had to be taken down due to a “technical fault.”
“PS Vita system software update 1.65 has been taken down temporarily due to a technical fault,” an update on PlayStation Blog explained. “For any customers who may have already downloaded the firmware, they can continue as normal. We will notify you once the latest system software update is available to download again.”
The 1.65 update was supposed to include a disable feature for notification alert messages, a “After 10 Minutes” option added to the [Power Save Settings], an arrow to alert the user of new activities in LiveArea and finally Caps Lock support on the on-screen keyboard.
