05 November 2011 - 09:50 AM | phbickle in News Playstation Portable Playstation Vita

Lord of the Apocalypse is a PS Vita launch title. It will also be on the PSP. It is the first title to be released on both systems at the same time. It will have multiplayer. However if you have been following 'it' and were interested in the multiplayer keep in mind that PSP players and PS Vita players will be unable to play with each other. This is unfortunate but understandable. While...

05 November 2011 - 07:00 AM | phbickle in iPhone / iPod iPad News

We posted this in our app store updates before it got its own news post, but I felt a game like this deserves its own news post. Oh! Edo Towns is the new game from Kairosoft, the makers of Game Dev Story and Mega Mall Story, both of which are very highly respected and awesome games for the iOS. Oh! Edo Towns is more 'sim city' like than the other two games, letting you build y...

05 November 2011 - 06:00 AM | phbickle in News Playstation Vita

Okay the title is a lie, but that doesn't change the fact that the new patient on biometic surfaced controllers is interesting, at the very least. The controlers would be able to monitor sweat, muscle tension and blood pressure just by playing the games.Weapons could change based on how stressed you are (imagine sniping!) Tense your muscles to guard or charge up a shield On-screen chara...

05 November 2011 - 01:00 AM | phbickle in News Nintendo 3DS

Not much is known about it yet, but you can file me under the "intrigued" and "excited" category. "We are already preparing a new game, a game in the series for the Nintendo 3DS, but don't think that it is a direct sequel to the Zelda titles released on DS," series producer Eiji Aonuma told Portugese site MyGames. "We are talking about a new game, but it takes m...

RPM Takes Bad Controls and Makes Them Fun

04 November 2011 - 07:00 PM | phbickle in Android iPhone / iPod iPad Media News Other Mobile OS

Watching this trailer I can't help but think of Miro Machines for the NES, or Rock & Roll Racing for the SNES. RPM seems to take the idea of the crazy unrealistic float-y controls and turn them into a very cool looking experience.

04 November 2011 - 07:00 AM | phbickle in iPhone / iPod iPad News

Super Crate Box is a decently well known PC game. Its fun, easy to jump in to, and very hard. A leader board has kept the game on peoples minds sense its release but what has also been on peoples minds is when a iOS version would be coming. The iOS version was announced way back in August but hasn't seen much news sense. That is, until today. Posted on the Vlamber Blog news came that Super...

Cut The Rope Hits The DSi

04 November 2011 - 06:00 AM | phbickle in News Nintendo 3DS

Touted by some as the best game on the iPhone, and currently holding several best seller positions across the world its nice to see Cut The Rope end up on even more platforms. There is a downside though! The game will cost you $4.99 through DSi Ware. Not a terrible price but compared to the $0.99 price tag on the app store, I suspect many people will be hesitant to pick this up....
